Asbury Park Councilman, Republican James Condos, pleased
guilty two counts of mail fraud and admitted involvement in two
schemes: one involving the liquor license and the other in giving his
vote to former Asbury Park Housing Authority Executive Director, the
late Kenneth E. Nixon, Jr.

Condos was sentenced to 15 months in prison.

Former Livingston Parish Councilman, Republican Robert R. Ringo
pleaded guilty to one count of making a false statement on his
income tax return, in violation of Title 26, United States Code,
Section 7206(1).  Ringo didn’t report the $17,000 bribe he received
for a favorable vote.  Ringo was sentenced to five years probation
with six months home detention, a $10,000 fine, and $1,889 in
restitution to the Internal Revenue Service.

that he had told a witness to lie to a grand jury investigating a
contract given to his brother in 1999.   Malloy was fined $30,000
and sentenced him to six months in prison, followed by six months of

aiding and abetting the unauthorized publication of a wire
communication, and was sentenced to two years of supervised
probation and a $2000 fine. Also implicated was the next Virginian
Republican Party director, Edmund Matricardi III.

Republican John Beaird, who campaigned for Texas state Rep.,
pleaded guilty to an $11 million mortgage fraud scheme.  He was
sentenced to five years in prison and ordered to pay $465,000 in
restitution.  An FBI investigation that showed Beaird was engaged in
at least 39 fraudulent transactions and obtained more than $11
million in loan proceeds for himself and the nominal borrowers.

was convicted in 2002 for racketeering, extortion, witness tampering,
and mail fraud. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison.  In 1984 he
was convicted of burning a man with a cigarette and hitting him with
